Shahid Kapoor is an Indian Bollywood Film actor, who is called chocolate boy by girls. He was born on 25th February 1981. He is also known as Shahid Khattar. He took first step for his career working in music videos and advertisements. His first movie is Ishq Vishk (2003) for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance.


He worked on many films like Fida (2004) and Shikhar (2005), and had his first major commercial success with Sooraj R. Barjatya's Vivah (2006). He earned nominations for the Filmfare Best Actor Award for his performances in Jab We Met (2007) and Kaminey (2009). He followed this initial success with roles in a series of commercially unsuccessful films before starring in the semi-hit R.Rajkumar (2013). He is working on his new movie Haidar. The film is set to release in 2014.
