Deepika Padukone is famous and beautiful face of Bollywood film industry. She was born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone is her father. As a teenager she played badminton in national level championships, but she left it to see herself in modeling field. She established herself not only as a model but also the most popular and attractive Indian Bollywood actress, who earn her fame by her hard work in Film Industry.


She started her acting career in 2006 from Kanada film 'Aishwarya', but she entered in Bollywood with blockbuster 'Om shanti om' movie and won Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Deepika Padukone received praise for portraying the lead female role in the 2009 romance 'Love Aaj Kal' movie, but she have to face negative response of 'Bachana Ae Haseeno' and 'House full' movie during 2008 to 2010 which was followed by her other movies released in 2011.

The 2012 box office hit 'Cocktail' marked a significant turning point in her career. In 2013, she established herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema by playing primary roles in the comedies 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Chennai Express' and won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in the tragic romance 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.'
